Technology and entrepreneurship are reinventing New York City's traditional industries. At the NYU Tandon School of Engineering you learn from those making the biggest impact. From researchers at the Brooklyn Experimental Media Center (BxmC) to guest speakers like Google Vice President and "Father of the Internet" Vinton G. Cerf, today's notable minds are here to help you emerge as a leader in your field.
Our students are innovative and ambitious, and we provide the opportunities they require to reach their career goals. In fact, the Brookings Institution, one of Washington, D.C.'s oldest think tanks, ranks the NYU Tandon School of Engineering number four for graduates with the most valuable skills.
In addition to rigorous coursework, our master's students in the Integrated Digital Media (IDM) program gain hands-on experience. They conduct research with our own research arm—BxmC—and with partners like the NYC Media Lab and the Center for Urban Science and Progress. They also collaborate with other students, centers and faculty across the university.
